FAAC Model 820 Slide Gate Operator
FAAC is the undisputed world leader in automated gate opener systems for opening gates, doors and garage doors.
In 1965 FAAC introduced hydraulics in the automatic gate openers sector and, through the years, has perfected this technology and adapted it to a multiplicity of needs.
In the 1980’s, FAAC began producing its own electronic equipment, including access control devices, radio controls, safety and signaling systems.  They  were the first to use microprocessors in control units, SMT technology, as well as simplified self-learning radio controls for electric gate openers.

MODEL 820 SLIDE GATE OPERATORS

  FAAC 820

The Model 820 CD is shown here with chain (left) and rack & pinion (right) configurations. The chain configuration also shows the slide gate installation kit.
THE MODEL 820 is designed for moderate pulling force requirements in high traffic applications applications. Available in chain and rack&pinion versions. Model 820 has 2 year limited warranty.
Installation  Manual
  • GentleSlide TM Motion Management Oil immersed clutch and electronic clutch which, when properly adjusted, will sense an obstacle to gate travel. Upon sensing an obstacle when the gate is closing, the operator will move the gate to the open position. Sensing an obstacle upon opening will cause the gate to stop. The gate will not move again until an external activation signal is received.
  • Continuous duty operationFAAC 820
  • Internal limit switches
  • “Soft Stop” on opening (except partial opening) and closing
  • 1/2 hp motor . Manual release (non-keyed standard)
  • Selectable delayed opening and closing (to allow for warning light activation)
  • 230 VAC
